Begin your sewing journey with Rahkiya Davis starting this December, she'll be hosting sewing workshops on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 - 5:30 PM.
The workshop will start with the basics, like sewing buttons and patches, eventually learning to upcycling your own clothes and more! This is geared towards kids aged 8 - 18.
Rahkiya Davis is a graduate of Eli Whitney Technical High School, and has an Associates Degree in Fashion Merchandising. Her passion for fashion has culminated in runway shows, opening her own boutique, Koloùr Boutique, in 2020, and teaching sewing in the New Haven community over the years.
