Included are stories of passengers traveling to Connecticut; a young local boy from New Haven, Roland B. Barnum, hearing some of the early distress call on his home wireless; and the amazing life of Violet Constance Jessop, who would survive the sinking of two of them.

The Ives Main Library, designed by renowned architect, Cass Gilbert in 1911, is a cornerstone of the historic New Haven Green. The facility is a community treasure and features unique design details, including several WPA-era murals.
