New Haven native Greg Dillon will discuss his book based on the events following his whistleblowing against the FBI.
Greg Dillon was a former FBI agent who was reassigned to a federal fugitive task force. While there, he discovered FBI misconduct and reported his concerns to his boss. When Dillon was subsequently removed from the task force, he was reassigned, demoted, harassed at home and work, then threatened with termination. Dillon finally filed a federal civil action against his employer, it lead to a contentious trial that ultimately involved testimony from the renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee and the most famous police whistleblower of all time, former New York City detective Franck Serpico.
