From "Race" Films to Blockbusters! We'll be showing films from different eras to showcase Black contributions to movie history.

Black Panther: By 2018 a director like Ryan Coogler was able to leverage a budget of $200 million to make one of the best received action films of all time. "Black Panther", with a strong Black cast, was praised for its afrofuturist themes and went on to win seven Academy Award Nominations.
