Cultural Academy IV will focus on Nikole Hannah-Jones "The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story" over the course of six weeks virtually this January and February.
The New Haven Free Public Library in Collaboration with the Urban League of Southern Connecticut present: Cultural Academy IV: The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story created by Nikole Hannah-Jones, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and New York Times Magazine. The academy will meet over zoom from 12:00 to 1:30 PM Saturdays starting January 7th and concluding on Saturday, February 11th 2023. The Donald G. Mitchell Memorial Library was founded in 1910, adopted into the New Haven Free Public Library System in 1922, and opened in its current facility in 1966.
