Join members of Yale Rep’s staff and the creative team of The Brightest Thing in the World for a presentation about the play followed by an informal conversation and Q&A about the process of bringing a brand-new play to life for the first time. Light refreshments will be provided. Walk-ins welcome. No registration required. Content Advisory for the Play: The Brightest Thing In The World includes continent, related to end, a pictures of the disease of addiction and recovery. The play contains profanity, sexual situations and sexual innuendo.

The Ives Main Library, designed by renowned architect, Cass Gilbert in 1911, is a cornerstone of the historic New Haven Green. The facility is a community treasure and features unique design details, including several WPA-era murals. Ives is open 54 hours a week, Monday-Saturday, and houses major public service departments for children and teens as well as adult reference, a computer tech center and Ives Squared, a newly renovated space for innovation and entrepreneurship.
