Meet new or favorite local authors, listen to their stories, and participate in activities!
Our children’s authors and illustrators series continues with local author, master cook, and Army veteran Winsome Bingham (Soul Food Sunday). Listen to a reading of her book and others about familial connection and relationships, participate in activities that get kids moving and interacting, and ask questions! Event will take place on the café patio and is open to all ages and families, up to a maximum of 20 kids. Register online (using button above) or by calling us at (203) 946-8129. The Ives Main Library, designed by renowned architect, Cass Gilbert in 1911, is a cornerstone of the historic New Haven Green. The facility is a community treasure and features unique design details, including several WPA-era murals. Ives is open 54 hours a week, Monday-Saturday, and houses major public service departments for children and teens as well as adult reference, a computer tech center and Ives Squared, a newly renovated space for innovation and entrepreneurship.
