Techniques for producing films with Prof. Chris Ward
Chris Ward, a New Haven resident, is a filmmaker and educator. He directed documentary films screened at Dok Leipzig, Big Sky, Boston Independent and Imagine Science Film Festivals, among others. A graduate of the Documentary Film and Video program at Stanford University. Chris lived in San Francisco and Los Angeles where he worked in a variety of film crew roles, including the sound and camera departments of films and shows featured in Showtime, Netflix and PBS. Chris has taught at Ventura College, Loyola Marymount University and UCLA Extension, and is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor at Quinnipiac University in Hamden.

The Ives Main Library, designed by renowned architect, Cass Gilbert in 1911, is a cornerstone of the historic New Haven Green. The facility is a community treasure and features unique design details, including several WPA-era murals. Ives is open 54 hours a week, Monday-Saturday, and houses major public service departments for children and teens as well as adult reference, a computer tech center and Ives Squared, a newly renovated space for innovation and entrepreneurship.
