It’s time for our annual ladybug party and Summer Learning Kickoff! Release ladybugs into Mitchell’s garden, play outdoor games, eat a popsicle, make some ladybug themed crafts and have lots of fun! This year there will also be a special presentation from “The Bee Lady” Catherine Wolko, featuring live bees! Co-sponsored by Blockwatch #303.

The Donald G. Mitchell Memorial Library was founded in 1910, adopted into the New Haven Free Public Library System in 1922, and opened in its current facility in 1966. Situated on the edge of Beecher Park, Mitchell Library has become a cornerstone of the Westville, Amity, Beaver Hills, Edgewood, and West Rock neighborhoods.
