Bill Hoagland is joining us for an introductory magic workshop. 1 hour program will include a short performance, demonstrating the mechanics of tricks, and having time to practice and ask questions.
Join us on either Thursday July 14th or July 21st for a one hour workshop with Connecticut's own magician, Bill Hoagland. Our workshop will include a short intro and demo from Bill, time to learn and practice a number of tricks, and time to ask any questions. Bill will have necessary supplies for participants to use during the workshop.
This event is open to anyone aged 13+
There are 20 seats per date.
About Bill
Bill has been performing in New England for over 25 years. He has performed at campgrounds, Blue & Gold banquets, corporate parties, birthday parties, Holiday Events, and more. Bill also co-produced a monthly magic show called Comedy Magic Monthly at BAR on Crown St. He is a regular performer at Spinnato’s Magic Matinee at Comix Roadhouse at Mohegan Sun. He has been chairman of the New England Magicians Convention (NEMCON) for over 10 years and is also a very active member of the The Society of American Magician’s local magic assembly in Wallingford.

The Ives Main Library, designed by renowned architect, Cass Gilbert in 1911, is a cornerstone of the historic New Haven Green. The facility is a community treasure and features unique design details, including several WPA-era murals. Ives is open 54 hours a week, Monday-Saturday, and houses major public service departments for children and teens as well as adult reference, a computer tech center and Ives Squared, a newly renovated space for innovation and entrepreneurship.
