Mix coding, music, and art with professional musician and composer, Carl Testa!

Composer and electronic musician Carl Testa leads a workshop devoted to the practice of live coding where musicians and visual artists manipulate computer code to create audiovisual compositions and improvisations together.  Participants will learn how to use free, open-source tools like Estuary, TidalCycles, and Hydra to create their own music and visuals collaboratively. Participants will leave with the knowledge of how to create their own expressive performances and how to continue their journey in learning more!

This event is supported in part by an Artists Respond grant administered through the Connecticut Office of the Arts and the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development.

This program will be held IN PERSON and registration is required.  Due to limited computers in the space, please feel free to bring your personal laptop.
