Bats: Our Backyard Buddies by Master Wildlife Conservationist Maureen Heidtmann will cover the persisting myths and misconceptions about these fascinating creatures, the many roles bats play to ensure a healthy planet, and the perils bats face in their struggle for survival.
Maureen is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator whose focus is on bats, and she has been working with bats for over twenty years. She also holds a Master Wildlife Conservationist certificate and a permit from USDA to exhibit non-releasable bats for educational purposes.
