Join us at Ives Squared to learn how to crochet a granny square.
In this session, users will learn how to work a crochet chain stitch, how to work the double crochet stitch, how to work a granny cluster, how to make a granny square, and how to read a crochet pattern.
The tools & materials required are a crochet hook, a ball of yarn, and scissors. Materials will be available at Ives Squared but feel free to bring your own. Optional materials are a tapestry needle and tape measure
This program will be held IN PERSON. Registration is required and spaces are limited.

The facility is a community treasure and features unique design details, including several WPA-era murals. Ives is open 54 hours a week, Monday-Saturday, and houses major public service departments for children and teens as well as adult reference, a computer tech center and Ives Squared, a newly renovated space for innovation and entrepreneurship.
