Explore drumming with local percussionist, Mark Zarrillo
For all ages, drumming has been an activity to bring people together. Now, more than ever, the community craves connectedness. Drumming is for anyone - able and disabled people, young and old, and anyone from any culture or background. On Thursdays this August, Mark Zarrillo, local percussionist, will be here at the library to foster a drumming experience for everyone. You do not have to be a musician or have specific drumming technique. All you need is yourself. This time & space in the library is for expression and connection. Join us this summer for a fun drumming experience with your New Haven (and beyond) neighbors.
Mark will have some instruments to share, but it is recommended to bring your own drum if you have one. This event will take place on the library's patio outside of the cafe space.
*In the event that it rains, we will convene in the program room near our lower entrance off of Temple street*
Please contact Samantha Bailey for program details and information: sbailey@nhfpl.org (203) 946-8130 x214.
