“When we recognize that a better word for fundraising is ‘friend-raising,’ we open limitless doors to creativity in support of our causes.” - Sue Vineyard
Generosity begets generosity. This is especially so when philanthropism is seeded in the richness of compost and how we nurture relatedness and intentional fellowship with each other. When we seek to connect to people from an openness and possibility, friendships and ventures can bloom. If you seek generosity you must reflect generosity not only in money but in seeking mutually beneficial relationships where there is the generosity of shared time, concern, and skills and resources. Learn how friend-raising is the foundation for fundraising which any endeavor needs to be successful. Our projects, dreams, and goals need C.R.E.A.M. (Cash rules everything around me) or do they? How can you find patrons, team members, cheerleaders, clients, grant money, Go Fund Me donations to pay for that endeavor (Nadine led a Kickstarter team that raised over $60 thousand dollars in 6 weeks)? Come learn how being a good friend and knowing how to cultivate symbiotic and soul enriching relationships are the key to having you stand out from the crowd and have investors knocking down your door.
