Come cook and learn about the benefits of going meatless in this monthly series.

The Meatless Monday movement is quickly growing around the world. Join us for vegetarian market shopping tours and cook along that share information you need to add healthy, environmentally friendly meat-free alternatives to your diet each week. Eating plant-based will be explained by learning from some of the leading chefs, nutritionists, and food artisans in the field to show the variety and deliciousness of eating vegetarian and vegan.

Part 3:Blue Zone Cooking and Living

If you want to thrive to a healthy 100, eat like healthy people who’ve lived to 100. The longest-lived and healthiest people in the world, centenarians in blue zones regions, cook at home on a regular basis. Cooking motivates you to move naturally, requiring you to stand, stir, mix, knead, chop, and lift. Healthy lifestyle recipes will be demoed with dishes using ingredients shown to increase mental health, wellness, and longevity. Chef Nelson will show you the secret  characteristics that have produced the world’s longest-living people with the intent that it can give you tips to live the most healthful and happy life. Learnings and recipes will hail from Sardinia, Loma Linda, California, Greece, and Costa Rica and Okinawa will be showcased how plant-based cuisine tastes great and allows you to live well nourished.
