Maternal Mental Health: A Fireside Chat w/Dr. Jessica Zucker

In Conversation with Jessica Zucker, Ph.D.

In conversation with Dr. Jessica Zucker about and her new book & reproductive and maternal mental health.

Join us for a conversation with Dr. Jessica Zucker. We'll chat about her new book, I Had A Miscarriage: A Memoir, A Movement and what new and expecting moms need to know about about women's reproductive and maternal mental health. This is an area of mental health that's not often discussed, which includes contemplating or struggling with pregnancy, pregnancy and infant loss, pregnancy after loss, pregnancy ambivalence, transitions in motherhood, prenatal and postpartum adjustments, birth trauma, perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, and relationship challenges after the birth or loss of a child.

Jessica Zucker is a Los Angeles-based psychologist specializing in reproductive and maternal mental health. Jessica's writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, New York Magazine, and Vogue, among others. Dr. Zucker is the creator of the #IHadaMiscarriage campaign. Her first book I HAD A MISCARRIAGE: A Memoir, a Movement is available now (Feminist Press + Penguin Random House Audio).

No registration necessary. Join us on Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/91057091116.

This program will also stream live on our Facebook page.
