As Valentine’s Day approaches, learn how to make your own chocolate delights with molds we made with the library’s machines.

There is nothing tame about chocolate. It has been used for a symbol of love and seduction. Join us as our CIR Nadine Nelson shows you how to make your own chocolates. We will make a chocolate bomb which are all the rage and Chef Nadine will demo how to prepare an easy chocolate mousse with a base of 3 ingredients. We will also be joined by Chocolate Expert Erika Dupree of Top Chef Dessert fame to explain how she creates gourmet chocolates from bean to bar. To find out more about Erika and her art, visit www.simplyerikas.com. If you pick up a Take and Make kit, you'll have the supplies needed to make your own chocolates.
