Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to close the gender gap in technology. Girls Who Code affords diverse groups of young women an opportunity to learn about technology, science, math, and engineering while practicing leadership and communication skills in a variety of STEM activities.

The Donald G. Mitchell Memorial Library was founded in 1910, adopted into the New Haven Free Public Library System in 1922, and opened in its current facility in 1966.
