Weekly Friday Meetings at Ives

The Unhoused Activists Community Team (U-ACT) is an organization made up of people fighting for the rights and dignity of unhoused people in New Haven. U-ACT combines direct action, meetings with elected officials, research, education, and mutual support to build our organization and affect change.  We do not provide any services or case management. U-ACT is made up of currently unhoused folks, people who are housed now but have lived on the streets in New Haven, and housed allies. We welcome new members and people who are interested in helping our cause, especially people who are experiencing homelessness now or have been unhoused in the past. Please join us at our weekly meetings on Friday afternoons at 1:00. Open to all ages.
