Teaming up with Haven’s Harvest and Ecoworks, New Haven nonprofits that deal with surplus food and art and crafts stuff respectively, we will make chutney as an edible holiday gift.
Chutneys originated to use and preserve surplus fruit and vegetables from the garden. We will create lovely gift packaging and while our chutney is cooking learn how to make other condiments you can give as presents with foodstuff from your pantry. If you pick up one of our Take and Make kits, you'll have all the ingredients you need to make this delicious apple chutney.
