Join a virtual chat and discussion with peers and leave your mats, fancy yoga pants, and all other pretensions at the door. There won't be any homework or pop quizzes. The only requirement is that you bring yourself and your awareness in this moment. Access the Zoom meeting at 4pm every Monday and Wednesday.
Please be aware that there is zero tolerance toward inappropriate behavior, this includes; disrespectful language, speech and actions. If you aren't able to be respectful towards everyone and to yourself, you will be immediately expelled from the program. You may be banned from attending future programs. There could be more serious consequences, if warranted. Lastly, for the safety of everyone attending we will be recording these sessions and they will be deleted if there are no inappropriate or disrespectful behaviors displayed.
The Ives Main Library, designed by renowned architect, Cass Gilbert in 1911, is a cornerstone of the historic New Haven Green. The facility is a community treasure and features unique design details, including several WPA-era murals. Ives is open 54 hours a week, Monday-Saturday, and houses major public service departments for children and teens as well as adult reference, a computer tech center and Ives Squared, a newly renovated space for innovation and entrepreneurship.
